MICRONEEDLING E-PEN

E-PEN Microneedling is a semi-invasive procedure performed using an electric pen equipped with 12 sterile, single-use microneedles. These inflict controlled micro-perforations on the skin to encourage it to produce new collagen and elastin fibers. Before the procedure, a lidocaine-based cream is applied to the area to be treated by our technician for maximum comfort. During the treatment, a hyaluronic acid-based serum is added and penetrates deep into the skin to maximize hydration.

What is the difference between the Microneedling E-Pen and the Morpheus8?

The Microneedling E-pen is a microneedling treatment with 12 needles that penetrate up to 2 mm deep into the skin. In contrast, the Morpheus8 uses 24 needles and penetrates up to 4 mm into the skin, while also incorporating radiofrequency. The Morpheus8 is therefore more effective at treating significant loss of firmness and deep scars.

Is the Microneedling E-Pen a painful treatment?

The E-Pen Microneedling treatment is a procedure that, thanks to the application of a topical anesthetic cream, remains comfortable, even for those more sensitive to pain. Skin irritation usually occurs a few hours after treatment and is alleviated by applying a moisturizer.

Will my face be red?

Yes, the Microneedling E-Pen treatment will create redness on your face, neck, and décolletage. Redness and healing can be reduced by 50% when you combine the Microneedling E-Pen with exosomes or an intradermal infusion of Hale Derma performed with our JetPeel device. Without exosomes or infusion, redness can last up to 48 hours, and the skin may have minor scabbing for 4 to 7 days after treatment.
